Xbox Wireless Controller not working for the game Night in the Woods, even with Enjoyable

So, I have been trying so hard to play natively Night in the Woods with my Xbox Wireless Controller, but I read that apparently, Night in the Woods didn't map the Xbox Controller properly on Mac. I tried to use Enjoyable, but it is doing nothing in the game. I tried to wrap it on Steam, but it is doing nothing. The only way it works is with CrossOver, but the game lags compared to how it runs on native. Is there a fix for this?

I have a Macbook 2019 Intel Chip, with all the Max specs of the time.

Apple to launch dedicated gaming app

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is planning a dedicated app for video games on its devices, reported Bloomberg News on Tuesday.

The company will preinstall the app on the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV set-top box later this year, the report said, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

According to the report, the software will serve as a launcher for titles and centralize in-game achievements, leaderboards, communications and other activity. The new app will replace Game Center and will feature editorial content from Apple about new titles, while offering access to the App Store’s games and promote Arcade.

Is the m4 decent at playing games like Rogue Trader, BG3, wotr, hoi4?

I’m getting the air 15” just for everyday stuff, some coding for my personal projects, and some gaming when I’m traveling. The base pro is 150$ more and I won’t use any of those features so idk, I’m not really keen on spending more unless the air is completely useless to play games on (at a decent framerate)

Recommend a game controller for M1 iMac?

I'm looking for something quality without spending much more than EUR 50. I'm guessing the best way to go is a refurbished or second hand Playstation controller? (currently boycotting Microsoft). I appreciate any recommendations.

I see some good looking budget options but then read about occasional lag issues, stuck buttons or incompatibility with games. But these are designed for major consoles so maybe that's all irrelevant when it comes to macOS compatibility. I'm totally green here. Thanks!

My thoughts about CrossOver made by CodeWeavers

Hey, recently I bought myself license for CrossOver since trial version satisfied me and here are my thoughts about it. Software itself is really easy to use and install programs from CrossOver. Staff is really helpful, when I wanted to use logo of CrossOver for article, they gave me permission to use it without any problem, even on discord they help a lot. Community is also great, I really felt warm when joining their discord. And the best part of buying license? It supports directly developers of wine (it translated calls to windows api so they could work on Mac api and Linux api). I also haven’t run into any issues yet when playing games through CrossOver.
