Movie should start off with Jeff and Annie already married
In keeping with Dan’s pattern from the beginning of subverting anticipations - as in, Brita and Jeff kissing for his assignment, Jeff and Annie kissing for the debate - I think it would be perfect for the movie to establish Jeff and Annie are already married. Maybe they started dating a few years after the finalé.

Inspiration for Kickpuncher?
I think I might have found one possible source of inspiration for the Kickpuncher franchise: Future Kick (1991), starring Don "The Dragon" Wilson.
The Community wiki page on Kickpuncher says CyberTracker (a different Don Wilson movie which I haven't seen yet).
Previously, I always assumed the inspiration was Albert Pyun movies like Cyborg and Nemesis.
What do you folks think?

Interview in a Podcast by The Economist Just Said “Streets Ahead”
I am sorry, but I think this is a subscriber only podcast. Today when discussing the advancements of AI and Digital Twins, the expert said they are now “Streets Ahead”.
Specifically he said “Formula One manufacturers have some of the most advanced technology you can see. They are Streets Ahead of other manufacturers.
I thought this group may appreciate that.

GQ: My final question is annoying, and I apologize in advance, but it would be an abdication of my duties not to ask for an update on the Community movie.
Joel McHale: Oh, well, it hasn't been shot yet. It will be. And I don't have a definitive update because we thought for a moment it was going to all happen this year, and then it didn't. But we have the money, and that is a huge step. And hopefully, people still want to see it. And Peacock's paying for it. And so I can't wait to do it. I'll say vaguely next year. How about that?

I'm kidding - just a non-violent heads up that I got myself added as a mod here, since the original mod seems to have disappeared (I'm not trying to "dirt road" them or anything).
I mainly did it just to get rid of the black mold sticky post that's been sitting at the top of the page for the past 7 months.
Anyway, let me know if you have any requests or suggestions! Also, it seems like since I'm not a lemmy.world user, I can't see reports here, so please message me if there's a post that needs to be deleted or anything.
Lates!
edit: created [email protected] to have a mod with actual mod powers. So reports should work now!
