Anyone in the area running a node? Just got 2 in the mail today, but their antennas are pretty weak, so I'm not surprised I haven't seen any other nodes so far.
But my lil buddy of 12y is missing for 6 days now. He's indoor/outdoor, so not a pushover that gets scared easily. Prevailing assumption is he's trapped somewhere. I'm hitting the streets and visiting the shelters too, bit I want to cast as wide a net as I can to get him back home. I'm just not ready to lose him yet.
Two Soddy Daisy police officers, who went to the District Attorney's Office over alleged wrong-doing in the department, have been fired.
Lt. Jake Elrod and Captain Eric Jenkins were terminated on Wednesday.
Attorney Janie Varnell, who is representing them, said, "Three months ago, two long-time Soddy Daisy police officers, Lt. Elrod and Capt. Jenkins, came forward with evidence that another Soddy Daisy Officer, Jeremy Wright, had lied in a previous internal affairs investigation.
