Is there a change log for Bose firmware anywhere? Couldn't find anything while searching

My last pair died - not even a year old - no damage - just shitty construction.

Upgraded to these guys.

No tracking. Not in the pods or the case. Why? They're giving off bt. I know from a 3d party tracker app that I'm going to have to use to find them.

I just learnt about quadraphonic audio format after downloading an album coded as such and I am wondering if my bose 700 headphones are equipped to actually make a difference with this format? Would it be better to stick to FLAC? What is the best option / format to actually enjoy the best sound quality? I have a turntable from the 90s connected to a cheap preamp that I bought on Amazon and that has not a headphone output... I read that there's nothing like vynil audio in terms of quality and detail. While I get a new one with the headphone exit, any ideas on what would be the best digital audio format to enjoy ony headphones?
