Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya thinks Japanese devs should be proud of 'JRPG'
What do you guys think? In the article he also mentions making a new sub-genre called "J-Action" he's probably referring to games like Bayonetta.
Personally I've never seen the term JRPG as anything but positive or at the very least a descriptor. So I find it weird that anyone would take offence to the name of the genre.

What do you guys think of a game where Jeanne is the main character? I think it could be fun. But maybe let's not make the main mechanic the side-scrolling bit from B3 please 😅 (tbf though, I didn't absolutely hate it because I like variety in my games.)
Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is a beautiful game.
Origins is a gorgeous game with beautiful atmosphere and if you haven't already, you should check it out. ❤️
Are costumes worth the halos?
Costumes are 100k halos, a hefty price.
Many of the helpful extra items you can get are a fraction of the cost, and they help you gain magic and health back. This is especially important on hard mode.
After some minor testing, my conclusion:
Is it worth foregoing the benefits of better items, just to see Bayonetta in a leotard?
Yes.
Wow so awesome to see a Bayonetta community! Tips for other weapons?
I just finished my first playthrough of #1
Now trying to complete it again on Hard which is.. really hard.
Are there any good videos on Youtube for how to effectively use the other weapons?
I basically stuck with the Scarboroughs the whole way through the first time.
I'm finding the sword and whip hard to use and get weaves reliably.
[B3] I love the customization options in this game.
I ran around with the blue color for the majority of the game because it looked a lot like Samus' Zero Suit. What about you?
Which is your favorite game in the series?
I'm honestly a big fan of the first one, but maybe that's nostalgia talking haha I also like how 3 streamlined combat. What about you?
