Lots of awake events

I just got an Apple watch S10. Before this I was using a Garmin with the Apple health app to get some insights into sleep, calories burned per day (the outer ring) etc.

Compared to the Garmin, my Apple Watch is showing a lot of awake events, even though me and my SO don't notice me waking up. Is the Apple Watch just way more sensitive? Is it catching every movement in the night and thinking that is me being awake?

No Home App after OS 10 Update: Series 4

I wear my Stainless Steel Series 4 to bed. After updating to watch OS 10, I noticed it would not accept Siri commands for my HomeKit accessories.

I only wear it to bed, so I just chalked it up to an early bug and ignored it.

After loading each update between 10.0 and 10.1, the issue has persisted.

When opening the Home app on the the watch, it would just show the clean energy info at the top of the display and at the bottom it would indicate I haven’t set up any home accessories (I have tons, and they all work on my Ultra Watch and all other devices).

So, I decided to erase all content and setting and set up as new.

Now, the Home app isn’t even installed on the Watch, and does not appear in the list of apps in the Watch app on my phone.

I didn’t notice anything about HomeKit or Home app support being discontinued or unsupported in Watch OS 10 on older models.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Square icon on Mail notifications instead of circular?

I'm pretty sure this has happened to me several times over the years, but it hasn't happened for a while so I can't remember the fix.

But for some reason, the notifications for Mail on my Apple Watch are square instead of circular. As you know, circular notifications are interactive and can be replied to, actioned, etc. whereas square ones are literally notifications and you can't do anything with them.

Any ideas how to fix?

disconnect AW ultra from iphone?

I’ve been using my Apple Watch ultra and I’ve been loving it for a few months. I love going for runs without my phone on me. I only have one dread; when I need to go for a run without my phone, I can’t disconnect my iPhone from my watch and use the LTE I’m paying for unless I turn off my phone or I go far enough away from the phone. When I play music on my watch, the music gets choppy cuz it’s losing phone connection. Any idea of how to disconnect the phone without shutting it off?
