Why did Muhammad hate the Jews so much? Because he at first tried to suck up to them, but then was rejected by them for this effort, leading Muhammad to decide to embark instead on a decade of armed conflict against them, resulting in him and his followers eradicating them from the Arabian Peninsula.

Muhammad's first attempt at receiving religious worship involved him trying to convince Judaism that he was the next Jewish prophet, or rather, that he was the original Jewish prophet, such as his ego went.

This was all because of a hallucination he had had in a cave one day, causing him to become convinced that the Judeo-Christian angel had selected him to be the Judeo-Christian prophet, and he even took that to mean that he was "the real prophet" compared to the ones who had come before him such as Jesus, Moses, and Abraham.

This is all without actually doing anything like that on his part. He was just a lowly merchant. So, he decided to start off his religious career by making people pray a lot. Surely this would do the most to convince people he was a prophet, he must have thought.

He then became outraged when this didn't work on any religious scholars, who he wanted authority from. He wanted them to agree with him that he was The Prophet.

The first chapter of Islam's holy literature (the Quran book plus the several Hadith books) is Muhammad's angry reply to these rabbis of the town of Yathrib (Medina), forming the origin-story of all of Islam: Muhammad's counter-rejection of the first religious scholars who rejected him.

This a scathing rant against all Jews, here addressed as "the disbelievers" for a first time: the chapter is entitled "The Cow", and it's numbered as the second entry after a seven-line introduction, making it the first chapter of substance in the Islamic narrative. Its title "The Cow" is also an attack on Jews. Here is the very first address toward Jews in the Islamic literature, beginning right away within its first substantial chapter "The Cow" (which is a slander referring to the sacred calf worshipped by rebellious Jews in their own Exodus narrative): Muhammad's tone has become threatening as he sentences them to immediate doom:

"Verily, those who disbelieve, whether you warn them or you do not warn them, it is all the same for them; they will not believe. Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be a great doom.

And of mankind, there are some hypocrites who say, "We believe in Allah and the Last Day", when they are not believers. They think to beguile Allah and those who believe, and they beguile none except themselves; but they perceive not.

To the Arabian Muslims and the British Christians, the only precedents for this war between them were the Crusades, where The Holy Land, as the Christians called it, was the prize, the trophy, and the goal, each time: for the European Christians it was to seize this for Christianity (as the birthplace of Jesus), and for the Muslims the goal was to defend this spot from the Christians. For the British of the time, there can be no doubt of their personal, unbiased intention, to seize and keep The Holy Land for the final time, for themselves, regardless of other consequences or outcomes of this war or considerations of other peoples, in what to them would've been the final, quiet, victorious, 5th Crusade, without putting this notion out into the world in any offensive wording, but which we can conclude proof of by their own internal national communication, of historic note, upon completion of the campaign:

• "I want Jerusalem [captured] for Christmas... as a present to the British nation." — David Lloyd George to General Edmund Allenby in June 1917, according to historical accounts of the campaign. • "Jerusalem was a Christmas present for the British nation." — David Lloyd George's sentiment expressed around the time of the Battle of Beersheba, November 1917. • "The last Crusade." — Though Lloyd George was instructed not to use religious language, this term became associated with the victory and was used in the press to frame the 1917 Christmas announcement.

Newspaper & Historical Context (December 1917/1918)

• Newspaper Announcement Context: The British press celebrated the fall of Jerusalem (which officially happened on December 9, 1917, and was announced to the public just before Christmas) as a major victory, with many papers framing it as the "Last Crusade" to boost morale. • General Allenby’s Entrance: On December 11, 1917, General Allenby entered Jerusalem on foot through the Jaffa Gate, acting on the goal set by the Prime Minister.

Look into the background of all the photographs: all photos show miles and miles and miles of empty scrub land, stretching to the horizon in all directions. This is how both sides were able to maneuver large armies across this area and do fighting without running into civilians. This land was mostly uninhabited at this time*:

I'll point out the most serious here: there is absolutely no "ambiguity" in the phrase "national home". It means "home nation". A nation is a state is a country; they're the same word. They are perfect synonyms. A country has a government. It is absolutely clear that Palestine was given to Jews, as their state, and that they were to form a government on it and declare independence, and this is implicit from the phrase "national home" or "home nation".

The second serious mistake made is misunderstanding that: when the British tried to foment revolt, they were trying to sabotage a country that was uniformly a British enemy- they were not there as friends to these people- they were trying to get them to sabotage themselves because Britain was at war with them. Though payments were promised, the only group that accepted the offer didn't follow through with it- they apparently wanted the payment but not to do the fighting- they failed at revolting. Britain paid them anyway. However, this episode has been lied about to imply Britain had a genuine friendship with these people and meant to significantly reward them afterward. No- these people failed Britain, and so after the war Britain did only a minimal job of repaying them. It is not conceivable that Britain would owe them their own country or Palestine afterward, despite anything that was said in the midst of the war effort to sabotage them against themselves.]
