I hope they remove all the filler out, including repetition, transitions, intros, etc. That would instantly make the show half the length.

This is good news for those who just got into One Piece from the live-action. For OG anime fans, hope they improve the anime pacing in remake. Don't know they will reuse the OG voice acting or not, but I hope they cast new actors which will give the remake more a refreshing feeling.

Netflix and Toei probably smelled money after the success of the live action adaptation.

I never thought I'd see the day! It sounds like they intend to use the original voice acting, if they are "only" re-doing the animation, but I really hope they give the SFX and OST some attention, as well.
