10 years ago, DayZ taught me some very valuable lessons: do not buy into the hype trains, never preorder games, and rarely trust early access games.
However I’m glad they didn’t abandon it, and fixed a lot of issues along the way.
I heard the game is in a really good state right now. I've got no interest in it personally, but a friend of mine is really into it and says it's a great game.
