Have they been to their own inner city stores? They suck ass so hard in almost every way. They used the suburbia template of what they offered, of course they're going to fail. Also, they're all leaving because their leases are up and a lot of people are wfh. This isn't rocket science.

Im curious what downtowns used to look like. Even in the 70s, downtowns were filled with big box stores like Macy's. But also, downtown was crazy dangerous. Then around the 90s, things got safer.

So I am curious - what does a modern downtown supposed to look like?
