Can't sign up, get no email for verification
So I can't sign up. I put in my details username, password, email. But then nothing happens, I'm not sure what's wrong but it's kind of annoying to not be able to sign up on this instance.
I don't get a verification email or anything.
Check your spam folder. Gmail in particular is bad about that.

I am having the same issue, getting email_not_verified.
Signed up yesterday, so it's been over 24 hours. Checked my spam folder and there is nothing there from Lemmy.
The only way I am able to login is by using the password reset link, but if I open a new tab I am logged out and I cannot use 3rd party apps.

Make sure that your username doesn‘t already exist on your chosen instance afaik that would cause an infinite spin on signup.

Hm ok, sorry then I’m not sure why Signups fail. Do you get a spinning button or does it redirect you to the frontpage?
No it just redirected to the sign up page, with all the fields blank.

Check your spam folder. Also, lemmy.world is growing rapidly and you may notice server slow downs, etc. as the instance is trying to handle the influx of users. Please be patient, it will come through. :)
