I've been searching for what "low power mode" actually does, and finally found the answer

I do alot of photo and video editing on my MacBook Pro M2, and I've noticed the "low power mode" was on by default. Tried to find out what it does, but Apple's own website didn't help me much.

I did remember reading about this. I think it also mentions it when you hover over the settings? But I could be wrong.
