I want to put him in my sera surfer deck but it feels like every card there is already so good... What do you replace with him? I was thinking killmonger or rouge, but it's hard to pick.
With Dazzler coming into the deck I'm thinking of taking out the Killmonger + Nova package. Bounce decks as a matchup died down for me. Then was thinking Shadow King and Dazzler would be good replacements for the two.
I swapped out Mr. Fantastic for him. I used to have Iceman and Scorpion, but I swapped them out for Luke Cage and Ghost. It’s been great for countering HE debuffs.

Yes! I picked up Shadow King as a my free Pool 3 card this month. It has been insanely clutch in Sera Surfer.
How can one card be so stylish, so synergistic, and so meta relevant all at once?
I remember the release reviews were quite harsh, and to be fair he wasn't great at 4 cost, but at 3 he feels very good.
My only problem is that I want to run him in Cerebro-3, where I forget that he'll reset bast and valk.
He won't reset Bast and Valk if you run Luke Cage.
I've wanted Hazmat for months. But I've been playing a lot of Doc Ock and Valkyrie style decks lately that would benefit greatly with Shadow King.
