✅ 0.8.1 RESOLVED: lemmy.world connection issues
Alright folks. I just got finished working with @[email protected] and all connection issues with lemmy.world should be completely resolved.
After patching the nginx.conf of lemmy.world to allow CORS connections, I issued a patch to wefwef, 0.8.1, to allow direct connections. This removes all proxying, and clients should connect directly to lemmy.world.
This patch feels like repairing a car while driving it, but hey!

I'm having lots of "problem voting, please try again" errors since yesterday. Does it have to do with the fact that lemmy.world is running on 0.17.4 or is it just the instance being overloaded? But in that case I find it weird because I can still vote correctly on the web UI. Thanks!
I think it’s just the instance overloaded. Smaller servers are nice and fast

Every hour at 15 minutes past, the lemmy.world server restarts, but that’s not a wefwef specific issue :)
