Easy way to skip print time and save pla

Printer Artillery Genius. I've used Cura slicer, but any custom support setting will do👌.

After that i primed the model so any eventual imperfection disappeared.

Wait so what was the trick to save time and filament? Just rotating the part to use fewer supports?

Exactly🫵

For me skipping 1_2 hour of printing time is a win, and saving a bit of pla is not too bad either. Also, a print complely covered in supports could be quite a pain to clean.

Nice one, I should look into rotating models too.. But once opening the slicer, I just lost patience lol

Superglue+bakinsoda to close gaps and streight small parts (as the tentacles) > A light sanding > Car primer and wet sanding (standard first then 1200p) > repeat until it looks good enough 👌💫

btw. The lil Cthulu is aroud 3 inches.
