No, fuck you, no. I never considered this, and I'm not going to, and if I do I'm going to find out where you live and put duplos on your bedroom floor, Legos in your shoes, and glitter in your mail.

I hope I never think about this idea again. Argh I'm sorry for anyone who has to go through with this now.

Once a month I’m going to post that question and tag you so you see it and are reminded of it. 😈

I don't mess with Lego nearly as much these days but yup, I used to lol. Same for grooves on technic pieces and whatnot, everything must be neat and symmetrical!

Of course I do. I worry I am closer to the dad than the kid in the Lego movie, but then I remind myself: Legos are a toy! If it is fun for me to lay out all the pieces in perfect angles, and then assemble exactly according to the instructions with all LEGO logos pointing left or down, then I'm doing it exactly right. The only point is to have fun!

Hell no.

And If I was aware someone actually cared about something so pointless, I would deliberately randomize the orientation.

I get that this is a joke, but also don't believe you wouldn't actually do it "as a joke." But the only point of assembling Legos is to have fun. If that's how they have fun, why would you spoil that because it's not how /you/ have fun?

You reached the end

When you assemble Lego sets do you make sure that all the little Lego logos on each brick are oriented consistently with the other bricks? | Spyke
