Great game, well deserved. My only complaint was that characters could have more skills, would really add some depth to the combat system
I just started it today. Really giving me Chrono Trigger vibes. It's hitting right.

I liked CrossCode, but I think the battles take too long. I didn't have the patience to continue after a few hours.
Most enemies die faster if you use a certain element or combo, I personally didnt have any issue with fight length (but I also really enjoy the combat so I wouldnt notice anyway)
I really enjoyed what they put together and I'm glad that it is getting the love it deserves.
I can't say that I've played a ton of indies this year so I feel its not fair for me to say it is the best of the bunch but I agree that it was an amazing title.
