If you like darksynth, Perturbator. His Dangerous Days album slaps.
I'm a fan of Makeup and Vanity Set and Waveshaper.

Obvious answer for me is the Midnight. They definitely can be a bit over the top at times.

Check out Power Glove, specifically their EP 2043: Volume 1. It's a bit different to your regular synthwave, it's darker and a bit more influenced by techno.
I'm a big fan of Starcadian.
I really like Kavinsky's latest album Reborn, specifically the song Pulsar.
Second for Reborn. It's solid front to back. I'm a big fan of the Zenith, Vigilante, Zombie stretch from the album.
Mr.Kitty’s Ephemeral album is one of my favorite electronic albums of all time.
Com Truise is great
I'm a big fan of Timecop1983, especially the Night Drive album.
Not sure what falls under the genre but this song/artist is a classic
