Two members of Moms for Liberty, a right-wing activist group, have reported several Florida school librarians to law enforcement. They claimed they had evidence that librarians were distributing "pornography" to minors and requested that law enforcement officers be dispatched. This represents a serious escalation of the tactics deployed by members of Moms for Liberty against school librarians.

I've had to deal with a harasser who was also making false calls to the police about me. Most cops suck, but eventually you get one who does their job.

Everyone is trying to keep their heads down for fear of the Karen brigade lopping it off. Plus, because it's Florida, parents are afraid of their kids saying the wrong thing and getting forcibly removed from their families, including their siblings.
