People are too hard on Gollum. It's fine.
Is the story good? Er, well... no. Is the game play engaging? ... nah. Is it at least relatively bug free? Nope. Does it refrain from shitting all over Tolkiens legacy? Also nope.

I found gameplay on YouTube and it's some of the worst looking gameplay I've seen in a game for a while lol. The first 4 minutes is all you need to know.

Looks like he only has one combo and that's it for all his attacks.
Also why display the game in a jungle level where the scope and size of Kong vanishes and he just looks like a regular gorilla running around? And by the way, it looks like everyone involved in the game was unaware of how gorillas move.
Immediatedly reminded me of that Frank Herberts Dune game from 2001 or so
This would look terrible even for a shovelware mobile game. It's genuinely baffling that it ever got released.
