Homer enters a steak eating contest (but loses), the joke here is that the guy there (Big Red or something?) won but he's actually dead. Homer, feeling responsible, takes over his job driving his Big Rig across the country and discovers an industry secret
"What's happening to me? There's still food but I don't want to eat it. I've become everything I've ever hated."
I think I remember a doctor quickly diagnosing a death unrelated to steak eating to reassure the patrons of the steakhouse.
This man has beef poisoning!
