At the first birthday party my parents arranged for me, I screamed at the other children to stop singing.

Unclear how my parents never figured out that I'm autistic.

I never know if I have to sing along or clap along... few years ago I decided to clap totally out of rhythm or introducing different rhythms on their claps

That song is sung like a dirge. It's depressing. If you're going to sing something, can't we pep it up a bit? At least pretend we're happy to be here?

My family knows I don't want them to sing to me and they respect it unless they're feeling cheeky. They also don't mention it's my birthday at restaurants and don't get me cards unless thats the only thing they're giving me.
