Fun fact: vhs tapes and cds are very much alive. My husband has a business re-selling them. Some go for multiple hundreds of dollars. Others we make $ from the sheer volume selling them .$50 a piece (cds specifically). I don’t get it, yet it’s happening.

There are definitely people who are into buying cassette tapes and vinyl records, and I assume that there are people who like 8-tracks. Probably laserdiscs too.
