Playing BG3 a goblin said they would xure my aflection and i followed them. They said i need to drink this potion and i rolled a perception check and passed, my character noticed it was a sleeping potion. I was like yep makes sense that I'm being put to sleep for the operation so I accepted and drank the potion.
I was very surprised when I woke up in a jail cell with no gear. I guess I rolled a 1 in the irl perception check.

I love the fact that the dumb goblins felled a tree to block the road but it fell the wrong way.
I love that you read that from the felled tree where I just put it for some kind of set dressing/visual interest.
You idea is canon now, btw
