Resources on creating and running a new instance?
I don't know if this the right place for it, but I plan on creating a Lemmy instance, though my technical or development skills are not the best, I have some experience with website administration (simple stuff like WordPress).
Is this the best /c/ to gather advice for it? Is it something worth at all being that I'm not an expert on this stuff? If you can refer me to other communities or resources on instance setup I'd appreciate! It's a fun project and I want to contribute to the fediverse.

As for a community, the preferred one is [email protected], as it's where Lemmy devs are most active on.
You should also join the Lemmy Instance Admin Matrix room for more "instant" support and to keep up with other news and findings :)

There are some folks in the lemmy_support area lurking around offering help on the technical side, if that's what you're after! Many don't have time to dedicate to running a full instance themselves, but are happy to help with the setup
