When someone starts to recurgitate something they hurt on the news, and you ask them details about it and they literally have no further thoughts other than what was said to them.
It's like someone told them this is how you should feel and they looked at it and went yeah that's how I should feel.
No deeper thoughts no consequences. It never occurred to them to apply and ounce of critical thinking to what's being told to them.
