Sandy gave herself a hat. I did not appreciate it lol.
She was giving me attitude yesterday because I hadn't come out to see her in a couple weeks.
My dogs got into a neurotoxin andy beagle died horribly and my other dog survived but was in the animal hospital for a few days and is still recovering. She should be fine with time. My grief for my beagle is so bad that I had to take short term disability from work to get my mental health handled. I had to call a crisis line twice Wednesday night because I was completely breaking down.
I'm going to be visiting Sandy as I recover, but my surviving dog, Rosie, is a priority. We are staying with my parents until the vet gives her the all clear and she doesn't know her brother isn't waiting for her at home. She's going to need me when she starts to grieve.
Here's a pic of my girl. She was watching the news in that pic.

Sorry for your loss, loosing family is never easy. Wishing you the best!
Tysm. It's going to be rough, esp when I return home, but I'll get through it. I have to
You can, and you will. Just takes time. I know from experience. That's one of the worst parts of it though, time. But it's how we know and remember how much they meant to us and how special our time is with the ones we love.
Grieving is healthy. I know it sucks.
Wow I hadn’t seen a Sandy post in so long. Was happy to see. But then I read the story and that’s super sad. Damn. I hope you guys are doing ok.
Was not expecting that sadpost after seeing a horse with a hat
I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss.
Sorry to hear about the puppers. What did they get into, if you don't mind me asking?
On the horses, every time I get off my QH gelding after a ride or cow move and take off his halter in the pen, he has to roll around in the mud and shit to get the stank of human off him to feel better. Then he looks at me like "you made me do this, asshole". He's always a mess when I get him to go to work, sometimes I think I should try to get him used to a pressure washer...
I'm sorry to hear the sad news. Sending you good vibes! In glad to see Sandy though.
You need to go around the pasture and eradicate the burr plants with prejudice.
Trust me, it's for your own benefit. It's much easier to remove burrs from the pasture than it is to remove them from your horse.
