You're gonna need to be waaaay more specific than just a felon who used illegal tactics to get power. That's an entire social class here in the US.

I mean they're usually not trillionaires, but the filthy rich being kingmakers (when they don't just run things directly) is just the whole history of capitalism. The Meta thing is only unusual in how blatant it is.
