tomorrow i'm gonna go participate in a study one of my friends is doing (he's analyzing the effects of feminizing hrt on metabolic rate). coincidentally, it'll also be my 1-year HRTiversary!

That’s cool, I love participating in studies :3 I was in a study recently where the linguistics department at my university was studying the local accent of people who grew up in my area and I thought that was super cool

oh that's super neat, regional linguistics are so interesting to me! swiss german has so many local dialects that you can pretty accurately tell exactly which valley sb grew up in within just a few sentences, based solely on their choice and pronunciation of certain words. idk i just think that kinda thing is fascinating :3
