Middle cat: This probably isn't your problem but why didn't you move the mounted HDD up so you could mount this hanging HDD without twisting the ribbon? I'll fix it. Scratches the shit out of the ribbon cable
Edit: lol didn't notice that there already was a twist in the cable anyways until after posting.
Lol yeah, just plug it in and boot to see if it works... It does, slap the case side back on and forget it. Or suddenly get worried that moving anything will cause it to break so just leave it as is.
I know for me, if a step requires repasting something, it adds like 100kg to the inertia I need to overcome to be willing to start it, despite never actually having a problem with the paste, other than it occasionally oozing out the sides and getting on the mobo, but I only use non-conductive paste specifically so that isn't a real issue, just cosmetic when you remove the heat sink so you can see the area.

You need a CAT4 cable
I remember when fans were small and capacitors were big.

the drives sitting like that, one upside down, the other not attached to anything, was just a "temporary" set up...
done five years earlier.

Needs more cat.
4 cats
Same number as my private key
They just kill the bug!
Fun fact: two orange cats equal 1 Mb (not MB) of RAM and are still worth more than an entire Data Center.
I wanted to say that 1Mb is a little high, but I suppose they need some memory to store braincell info
That looks like it was taken at my workplace.
