Single malt as a label is a bit of an odd thing. There's no particular reason that doing everything on one site should necessarily improve the result. Nonetheless, since it has become a point of prestige, it now means that almost anyone making a high-quality whisky will make it a single malt

Also yeah that definition for an English single malt is fucking stupid
