That announcement from EA was such corpo speak for "we are re-organizing in order to see the biggest economic wins"...
That’s sad. I always kinda hoped that they’d regain some footing instead of constantly being hobbled by brain dead executives. Instead they’re losing their jobs so some exec can get a bonus.

That being said, Bioware was already dead the instant they sold to EA. I wept for them years ago. There's no sadness in seeing a zombie finally get buried.
Mass Effect being gone doesn't mean we won't see more alien filled AAA games. I'm hopeful for the future
