I love waiting - A positive post
Been a while since I posted something, so I decided to vhsnge that and bring a bit more positivitiy into the space again! Special kind too.
Directly to the point: I love waiting!
To be precise: I love the feeling of my body changing. The knowledge that every time I got to therapy, I get closer and closer to have bottom surgery. Even more then two years into my transition my boobs still grow and my body gets more feminine.
Watching myself walk longer and longer down this road is just enjoyable at this point. At the start I was an impatient lady, always wanting to get all at once. Now... I love the slow but constant changes and now, looking back, there is indeed a lot of pride in my chest. It did pay off to invest more time. It still does to do so every day.
Maybe you beat yourself over the head with things like "I should have startes sooner!", but then, second best is now. So get going!
Hope you have a pleasant time, you are stronger then you think!
Lila, signing off!

hiya lila! love your name, darling! just want to say thanks because i needed to hear this right now.
i finally got up the courage to thrift the women's section today, but trying on women's clothing unlocked a new level of body ick. tops i tried on just fit weird and i felt so gross in the mirror. i guess i just need to accept this as a necessary part of the transition. i'm very completion-oriented so maybe i'll try to take a lesson from you and be more about the journey.
i did ended up going home with a couple items which is a win and didn't even find most of the experience that odd. they're just clothes. anyway, sorry if this was a bit off topic just to tell you that i appreciate your post and maybe it helped me look at things differently. cheers!
Since I had to change my wardrobe like... 3 times due to sizes no longer fitting, I know EXACTLY what you mean. Believe you me, it will stay a hassle for a while.
Still glad I got to enrich your world a little bit. It is not off topic but to the point actually, your body not only needs time, but mind as well to develope a sense of your own aesthetic. You will figure it out~
