No Kings. No Demands. What Happened?

Despite its origins as a movement dedicated to helping citizens pressure elected officials into resisting the Trump agenda, Indivisible National has not endorsed Trump's impeachment, telling a local chapter via email that it is “not an endorsed priority” for the No Kings! Coalition. In Montana, the organization went further, requesting that the same chapter not use the “No Kings!” logo or branding for their impeachment-focused event—and threatening to remove them from statewide communications after they didn't comply. That dispute followed another undemocratic intervention in the state's politics: a campaign by Indivisible National to convince Alani Bankhead, the Montana Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, to withdraw from the race. (Levin and Greenberg did not respond to Current Affairs’ request for comment, or an interview.)

Oh, it's a brand now is it? Fucking hell, America.

As almost everything American, it's fake, vapid and ultimately is about making money off rubes

It's always stuck me as deliciously ironic, and very American, that the 'No Logo' movement has a logo.

It's been a brand since last summer. Watching the co-opting of the 50501 movement was a real eye opener for me.

Brand now, IPO soon, then merger with truth social - "Truth? No. Kings!". The american dream baby.

if democrats take everything possible they still won't be able to have enough in the senate to remove him from office. this type of discourse is devisive bs.

I was off. Still they would have to win places like alabama, wyoming, idaho, arkansas, and louisiana. Also fetterman is not up for election so that 69 is actually 68. Now granted if the republicans lost that badly or even close to I think even some of them would realize what they would need to do to recover. I find this bitching about no kings distasteful though. Especially given they purposefully made this last protest as neutral as possible with just the message to get out and vote however you feel you should vote.

However you feel you should vote is fine. Study after study shows that if we had even a 90% voter turnout in this country, the Repugnicunts would never win a federal or state level race ever again. 100% turnout would curbstomp them in the local races as well in over 90% of the country.

The messaging was so that the feds had no excuse to try to declare martial law and then try to suspend the election.

You reached the end
