France announces nightly curfews 'for as long as necessary' in Paris and other cities
Fresh curfews were being imposed across the city centers of Paris and Lyon on Tuesday after the first quiet night since France's most destructive rioting in years.

Do they honestly think they can enforce such a curfew?
French here. This is all escalading quickly. They're planning on sending the army and special forces to secure next saturday's protests. I wouldn't be surprised they use similar forces to enforce potential future curfews. People from center to moderate left to far left are horrified. Authoritarianism at it's best. Seems like a popular flavor all around the world. Very scary
They have successfully turned a protest into a riot. I feel bad for the people that actually want change instead of some free looted shit.
Liberté, égalité, fraternité my ass
I feel like setting a curfew for adults will sorta have the opposite effect.
