Hate is hate, racism is racism. There are and should be no levels of them. Who makes the rules for what is more or less racist? Why should any be tolerated?

When I was 12 and an idiot in many ways, I might've responded to many racist words against me (I am of Sikh heritage) with racist words back because that's just a simple and natural response. The correct thing to do is to pull us both up on it equally and say both are wrong and get an equal punishment, or even better, education on why they are wrong to use. Now if that happens between a Sikh and a Muslim, both would be "equally racist". If it was between a Sikh and a Jewish person, then even if the Jewish person "started it", you are saying the Sikh should be punished more because one is worse than the other? How about if the antisemitism does not mention the holocaust?

It just doesn't make any sense to single one thing out when we have clear guidance and public acceptance on what is racism and that it should be stamped out.

It is good to point out that antisemitism is rising. However, any person making that argument cannot deny that islamophobia is also rising, as is anti-immigrant hate. We should be looking to combat all of it, overwise you are saying one group of people is more important that another, which is by definition racism.

You can't combat racism with more racism!

It is clear that antisemitism is being taken more seriously by the British establishment than any other forms of racism. Even on a personal level, I am often mistaken to be Muslim and suffer racism from time to time, and the Sikh community has suffered anti-Sikh racism. I am still supportive of stamping out all racism including antisemitism and islamaphobia.

Academics and International bodies agree that what happened and still happening in Gaza is genocide.

While I agree with the sentiment that we should treat all incidents of religious or racial hate-crime similarly and we shouldn't single out one particular group above another, the twitter commenter shown above is taking a ridiculous, vitriolic position not based in fact. Especially when Islamophobic hate-crime already has its own special category within hate crime legislation and the government publishes specific guidance around it in exactly the way this report wants for antisemitism:

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/a-definition-of-anti-muslim-hostility

This sort of relentless focus on anti-antisemitism studies and reports very much smacks of someone who themself can't distinguish between anti-zionist/anti-israeli genocide campaigns and actually just hating Jewish people.

What isn't factual? Is there monitoring for Islamophobic bullying in schools? No there isn't.

Newsflash Tommy Robinson and Nigel Farage exist and they're publicly spewing vitrol about Muslims and nothing is done about it.

Listen to Finkelstein to understand the person making the Tweet since you clearly don't https://youtu.be/dEbtSbMcQCg?t=7320

Is there monitoring for Islamophobic bullying in schools?

That's exactly what the government guidance I shared aims to encourage, just like this report into anti-semitism that hasn't actually been published yet suggests. So there is no difference in how these two groups are treated in the eyes of the government except the islamophobic bullying guidance has been around for nearly 4 years whereas there is no such guidance currently for anti-semitism.

Nice whataboutism, just because there are awful people who hate Muslims, does that make it OK for there to be awful people who hate Jewish children?

I listened to a brief part of the link you shared and I don't see how any of what was said, despite it being largely accurate, is at all relevant to the issue at hand which is antisemitic bullying of school children.

Is it? You didn't link any proof of that whatsoever you just linked a random definition of anti Muslim hatred unrelated to bullying.

There's no whataboutism there's the obvious double standard being presented to you which you fully ignore.

Once again you can educate yourself with the words of Finkelstein speak for a while and you will suddenly understand what the title of this post refers to

No, I specifically acknowledged it, you either chose to ignore it or simply failed to see it.

You are the one who hasn't seen the double standard of there already being this same guidance for islamophobia for years. There have also been multiple investigations and studies into islamophobia in schools in the UK exactly like this study or antisemitism that seems to have angered you so much.

It's either disgusting racism to attack a Muslim for their faith and also a Jewish person (or any other religion for that matter), or it isn't for any of them. You're merely showing Jewish exceptionalism in a negative way, which is just you being anti-semite because you're only upset about one of them. In fact it seems you didn't even know about the guidance put in place to protect the people you're so vehemently white-knighting for.

I shall not be engaging with you any further on this, or any other topic.

And there it is the Zionist dogwhistling. Instead of admitting that there is nothing similar for Muslim bullying you say whataboutism and antisemitism.

Your staggering level of ignorance about quite literally everything you've said has made me last barely 20 minutes from saying I wasn't going to respond to you any more. Congratulations.

Please outline any place where I have made even a single pro-zionist or pro-Israeli statement, either directly or indirectly.

You are so obsessed with being anti-zionist that you have simply become a racist anti-semite.

I doubt you're even capable of conceding a single point, even when presented with actual concrete evidence to the contrary as I have shown above.

All I can hope is that at some point in the future you see how your judgement has become clouded by anger and hatred and that you're not so different from the people you rail against.

And there it is, more Zionist dogwhistling while providing literally zero arguments. It's amazing how antisemitic your arguments are

Instead of yelling antisemitism can you find the example of Muslim hatred being policed for in schools for me? Like you said existed.

Antisemitism is a particularly bad for of hatred for it's historic connotations and degree of insult.

Calling a Muslim some slur or generalizing them as terrorists is less hate filled than suggesting that it's unfortunate that his ancestors weren't a victim of genocide.

Antisemitism and antisemitic slurs are on a different level of hate.

There's been far more genocides against Muslims. Almost all of the current and recent genocides are against Muslims. Rohinga, Bosnia, Palestine, Kashmir, Sudan, you name it.

Meanwhile Jews haven't faced a genocide in 80 years and face no systemic discrimination.
