Okay but I got onigari molds, bento boxes that nest for storage, as well as beautiful envelopes I use to give tips (like to the esthetician) at Daiso in Vancouver, all things I can't find locally, even in the nearest city. Not just at discount shops, I mean in general.

The Daisos near me have increased their minimum prices to $2.50. At that point, it's not really worth the impulse purchase. Still has cute fun items though

Sounds like someone went to Daiso in San Francisco and assumed that it's the same as Daiso in Tokyo
I went to Daiso at Westfield Marion and it was 100x better than 'The Reject Shop'.
But they're both gone now.
