technically they just said dark magic is illegal
maybe there's an absolutely above board established sex change spell that isn't dark magic and this guy's kid decided to go the challenge route instead lol
Well it was described as a curse, and I imagine curses would generally be illegal. I assume curses are probably sloppier than more refined magic, since cursers generally aren't very concerned with the well-being of the cursees. I assume the stable trans magic is legal but much more difficult, and homegirl lacked the skill, or money to pay a proper mage.
If you use Folx in the US and have them ship to you, your first shipment literally looks like a black tome / grimoire. Its absolutely beautiful, I store all my HRT stuff in it.
No pics on my phone >.< - I SHALL BE BACK LATER WITH THE DARK TOME. I need to practice my dark magic tonight anyways :3
Hah! This is similar to my shapeshifter story I'm writing. MC goes to a witch in order to get hexed into a common reed frog. Just before the transformation, they suffocate their testicles so that the normally-disabled ovaries that are present in the male frogs become active.
After a month of living as a frog, MC lays a clutch of eggs, revealing to the witch that the process worked and she unhexes her.
This temporary frog transformation grants the MC the legendary [Sex Change] skill that only one other [Shapeshifter] has ever received (over 200 years ago). Only there's a minor setback: The [Sex Change] skill is adults-only. This means the MC is going to be stuck as a girl for the next 2.5 years.
In a medieval guild-run society, this creates a bit of havoc and throws a great big wrench into everyone's plans (to say the least) 😁
I'm also writing a story which technically has magic in it. It's more of a "witnessing Lucifer literally fall from the sky" type deal. I started recently and haven't gotten to the part where they find him yet but I bet it's gonna be cool when I actually write that part...

Good job girl very cute
trans people should be allowed to have unrestricted access to dark magic
fucking white mage patriarchy, always saying dark magic "goes against traditional values" backwards shit ass excuse for misogyny and mageism.

Aw, I want dark magic.
Are you on HRT? If yes, have you checked your prescription?
I'm not. And I'm not sure if I should be. And I can't go there anyway. I sometimes wish I could though.
Father is going to be even more surprised when he learns the Kingdom has been using Dark Magic for centuries, to monopolize its use.😌
