One more time around

I have the opportunity to share this build one more time this year. Technically it was suppose to happen last week, but the show fell through and it wasn't good. I went through and repaired, revamped, and overhauled the build after it's last showing at the Michigan State Fair. If all goes well, this weekend it will be at the Great Train Show in Waterford, MI. The build itself is a biomechanical Venus flytrap that creates Eldritch Horror abominations and feasts on the deceit of transcendence. The build itself took about 2 months collectively to get to this state.

I wonder how people view this, like, do they have technical knowledge about how hard it is to do what you've done? I am very impressed with your builds, time and time again. Good job!!

From what I can gather, the typical reaction is bewilderment along with shock and awe. "How do you transport this?" "How do you know if/when a part falls off where it goes?" "How many pieces/time did it take?" Those are the usual inquiries followed by a handful of times "This isn't LEGO anymore, this is art and it belongs in a museum!" I always love that comment. I greatly appreciate it and I have a few other builds I have been cooking up since I dismanted the build and prepped it for transport. Now I can upload pictures! Thank ya again. :D

Ha ha ha. I get that every now and then. Nah, it's not a metal band logo, this is the Veinhart Soul Engine and Swarm Core.

Thank ya for that! I was told people loved it. Some were scared and even with the story, they were confused. We'll see how it is this weekend. I did hear someone say while I was setting it up "this isn't LEGO anymore, this is art!" So, that's always a great thing to hear. 😊
