Hotend mount 90 degree angle
I've designed a new toolhead a while ago and the hotend, a Phaetus Rapido UHF v2, is mounted using a small aluminum bracket meant for an E3D hotend.
The bracket is mounted to the toolhead using brass insert nuts that were pressed into the plastic using a soldering iron.
The picture is the side view of the toolhead. It's currently missing the bottom half.
The hotend ends up not entirety vertical.
How bad is this? Ideally it's perfectly vertical but is it worth the effort of straightening this out?

You’re going to run into issues with this. Going one direction the material is going to be overly “compressed” and the other it will be beaded up on top of the last layer.
Other things like ironing will be impossible, but honestly the first issue is the worst so I’d just redo it.
The best way to find out is to test it.
Personally, I would just redo it. Considering how common failures are in printing, I think having a crooked hot end is absolutely going to cause problems, and even if it doesn't, every time you have something that isn't working, you're going to wonder if the reason is the crooked hot end. So save yourself a world of grief and fix it protectively, I say.
Can't argue with that.
Wont this white printed piece just melt?
No it doesn't get that hot. I've also designed ventilation channels into it so the hot air from the hotend goes out the top.
If the hotend cooling fans fail then it does get quite toasty but in normal use they can handle it.
Also it's made of ABS.
