Tonight, as of 9:44pm of 10/16/26, approximately 48% of my top Reddit posts on all of my diverse feeds I created for myself have overwhelmingly positive posts about China. I dunno what's up, but I see the effect of what is a clear implement of propagandasia.

They weren't smoking meth, that's never really taken off here outside of certain gay communities afaik, and even then it's rare. Amphetamine here is speed, and it's one of the many white powders taken by nose.
CCRU were a little before my time, I don't think I've heard of them by that name before but the wiki page just recontextualised some of my mid 00's to early 10's, their ethos definitly had an impact in some of the goth and squat rave circles I was around.
How does Theil come into this from the CCRU tho?
So to my knowledge there's a lot of inspiration that came from CCRU, which Nick Land was a participant, who then worked on Dark Enlightenment and explicitly engaged with Yarvin and supposedly Peter Thiel, then Thiel and Yarvin have documented correspondence.
These people have worked closely together and people have drawn some conclusions about the influence.
It's a little sad to me when people get super obsessive about prison planet theory and think we're trapped in some sort of actual physical hell. These people have looked at all the good in life and considered it an illusion, then found all the worst and most pessimistic theories and believed it to be proven fact.
Life can get rough but that raw existential fear is what feeds the worst in this world. It's better to just accept go with the flow.
This illusory world is a containing system in that we remain causally dependent on God/the Ālaya-vijñāna until we undo the entanglements within us that were making us maladapted for Heaven.
I don't even remember making this post. Weird shit is going on in my perceptual reality. My backpack moved across the room last night. Objects appearing and disappearing. I'm in stream-entry, so I have an unshakable faith in the machinations of Karma and the dharmas that have come before. But God wants me to make my own school of thought; it's important present the truth in as many ways as possible to illuminate the paths available for a layman, novice, or neophyte. Part of this is marketing; the biggest problems we face in education today are ultimately marketing problems. How do we get the kids not just to read but to give a shit about reading. Sometimes projecting a hopeless reality is good, as it can spur a connection with someone who is lost in the tall grass and does not trust the shepherds.
