I saw this and thought to myself, "Is that a sudo make me a sandwich reference?"

Then I saw this:

The logo is a reference to an xkcd strip, where an order for a sandwich is accepted only when preceded with sudo.

It is.

If interested in alternatives, I've been also using another standard setuid when no sudo is available, and gosu in Docker/Containers for convenience and less size of the binary. These are marvelous optins, too!

Be careful with what you wish for when using suck. I lost a friend that way. Now I have a cat that likes files.
