Big Think (The People In Charge)

We were told not to pay attention to the man behind the curtain. Yet we did, and we found that he was indeed there. The more clever among us have noticed that the man was but a cleverly built automaton, and not the one in control. We have seen the trick, yet we have not arrived at the truth.

So if the ones in supposed control turned out to have no control at all, what is left? Is there someone behind the scenes? Or is it just an elaborate game of fools trying to trick one another that there are rules and arbiters while in reality there is no such thing at all?

Personally, I believe its the latter. The players of this "game" are the butter of the cream of the crop. The one percent of the one percent. And what are the rules? The rules are: fuck you, got mine. There are none. But they would like to trick everyone else that there are.

I'm not going to point towards any group in particular. These are not the people who can be singled out by their skin color, religion, or the amount of assets they have. No. The players of this game can be distinguished by their mindset, and their ability to leverage it. And just like in the myths of old, that ability is not earned or gained, but inherited. Handed down. It's all a big party, and you aren't invited. No matter how smart you are, no matter how rich you are, no matter how valuable you are as an individual, if you aren’t invited to the club, there is no way you are getting in on your own.

So what can we do? Aren't we just collateral damage in this equation? Just pawns, never meant to share a slice of the proverbial pie? Yes, good Sir and/or Madam, we are. But there is still a way out. They want you to think this is just the way it is. That you have no choice in the matter. But you do. You can choose to simply not participate. Once a movement or idea gains enough momentum, it becomes the status quo. So, I implore you. Reject capitalism as much as you can. Reject exploitation. Reject blindly following laws and rules just because they are written down. You have free will. Everyone else has free will. We can simply choose to opt out of the system. They will resist. They will send the devil to tempt you (not literally, but they will send the police to crack down on your "illegal building project" you started in the woods). And for the love of all that is good and holy, promote community. Participate in your local community. Find friends and like minded individuals. We can rely on one another. We can rely on common humanity in the face of cold capital.

The Earth doesn't belong to them. The air doesn't belong to them. The sea doesn't belong to them. And YOU don't belong to them.

Farewell and Godspeed.
