I only watch TV when I'm on holiday/at a hotel. Stbled upon the Mythbusters episode of the lead balloon, and it was so cool how Adam used paper for the model to shaw the audience how it would work.

Made me sad cause if the show came out today, it would be 3d print this, and (probably) AI that. ("Hey SponsorAI, How do I make a lead balloon?") Show wouldn't have caught on like it did back then.

::: spoiler 3D printing

Is cool, but it's just not the same as seeing Adams sketches and him building the model and seeing it work...

Adam has his own Youtube channel and has covered a load of 3d printing. When he goes to studios, he also covers what they do. He's not covering the printing of other people work, but printing as a tool and an accellerant to your own making. He sseems to be fine with use for iteration and intricate parts.

Here's where adam was 3 years ago on AI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESSHjm0xbig

and here's 2y ago on AI art speficially https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usEkSlT-SYA

Not really, the whole premise was that they were two former Industrial Light and Magic employees.
