Class of 1999 (1990 1080p) (links in post) [Halloween-a-thon]

Another movie that was a Monsteron watch party in the past year. This one is all right, as long as you keep your standards in check!

In the 1990s, youth gangs take over areas in major North American cities. Two major gangs, the Blackhearts and the Razorheads, vie for control.

In 1999, while working with MegaTech head Dr. Bob Forrest, the CIA begins an experiment where three former military robots become educators in Seattle's Kennedy High School.

...

The film received a score of 63% based on 8 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.[9] Metacritic gave the film a score of 33 based on 9 reviews, indicating "generally unfavorable" reviews.

Naturally, the robots go bazerk and start terrorizing the kids!!! One of the killer robots is Pam "Foxy Brown" Grier, "cinema's first female action star"!

I've not seen this one before. Is it about as good as Class of 1984? I saw that as a teenager in a late night show and loved it. I'll have to try to find time to watch this one.

Somewhere, someone made a lost of all the fulls with punk characters and I remember that being such a fun thing to read. I should find that again.

OK, wow, I totally saw this a few months ago and totally forgot. I just now started watching it and was like, wait, no. I've seen this, lol.

This looks fun based on the first few minutes. Love the practical effects too.

Thanks for the archive link, I did not realise that YouTube show ads every 2.5 minutes now.

Check out that link about how to block ads, it's worth figuring out, I personally never use movie streams with ads.

I had a look, but I’m using an Android tablet at the moment (although, Firefox + UBlock might apply there?).

I have yt-download on the desktop so when i have more time i can go about it that way.
