Why carnivore is difficult
I thought carnivore would be easier than this.
After more than four years of eating carnivore, I've learned that knowing what to eat is only part of the equation. Dealing with food temptations and navigating social situations can present their own challenges when you choose to eat differently from the people around you.
In this video, I'm sharing my perspective on two real-world challenges of carnivore and what it takes to make this way of eating work in everyday life.

Funny, I found it the easiest diet, presuming you can forgive small failures (like occasional beer for me)
The food is simple and satisfying. Social is hard. It's not often that I eat at family dinners (they used to ensure there was something for me but I started telling them they needn't try as I'm usually not hungry) and I don't know what I'd do if I was young and dating — probably try to find a carnivore partner
At work tomorrow there's a team lunch of pizza, so I'll be having a large steak for breakfast (currently between pemmican batches) and having water for lunch)
Also since I mostly do this diet for health, I don't mind having tea or coffee in amounts I can tolerate easily
I've found dating to be pretty easy - drinks become coffee / soda
Food becomes whatever grilled meat option is on the menu (usually steak or fish). honestly it's barely noticeable, or at least nobody has made a big deal about me eating the grilled food.
