They leave when they're outnumbered.
They do plenty of "work" when they're outnumbered.
They scurry off when they get surrounded and realize there's a chance any one of them could put a pistol to the back of their head and make them a statistic.
20 people with phones yelling at them from 30 feet away don't scare them anymore.
Be safe out there.
