People keep making comments like this.

But they kind of just ignore that our country is the equivalent of 50 Spains.

Very easy to say "just make change, bro". But even the EU, which doesn't have 50 members, can't agree on much.

Trust me we'd love to do something like this. The sad reality is too many people let the corruption fester because it benifits them and they refused to update our outdated methods to hold them accountable because it benefits them.

I'm really sorry everyone else has to suffer because of us.

Let's hope the gamble pays out. His minority government failed to have measures on housing pass in parliament. They were to do something and got blocked. If it pans out, maybe they can get the extra reach they need. If not, things can get a lot worse for Spain.
