At least trees take an appropriate amount of time to get tall! Freaking sunflowers do it in a year! You know how tall I was when I was 1!?

There's a novel called The Overstory and a central theme of it is the trees and the people that come to a moment where a tree changed their life. They try to change to the same mindset as they think the trees have to have another moment with the trees. It's disaster for the people ultimately and the tree is just like what did you expect, you have your time and we have had ours
