The MAGA comedy act of Schmuck & Jeffries have been on the stage long enough, and nobody has found them entertaining at all. Time to give them the hook, and get some real talent on the stage.

The rise, and re-rise, of MAGA is 50% their fault, and they haven't done one single thing to demonstrate that they deserve a THIRD chance to protect us from the MAGA Monsters. Both of them are entirely useless, and Schmuck is even worse than Jeffries, if that's even possible.

All this corrupt old fuck cares about is Israel and Insider Trading. He has never done one single thing to advance a true Democratic agenda, or protect this nation from being conquered by Treasonous Pedophiles.

When this is all over, and we are putting MAGA Traitors in front of a tribunal, Schmuck & Jeffries need to be heavily investigated, too, and we'll probably find out they were collaborating all along.

Non-US user - how old is that guy?? He looks like he should be hovering around a nursing home shouting racial slurs at the staff.

13

He's 75 years old, considered young for most representatives of the USA.

Him and half of our leaders. They're addicted to the power and won't leave it. It's just one reason you know corruption is rampant. These people don't want to retire despite having a guaranteed paycheck and healthcare for the rest of their lives.

11

What's funny about power is usually when you have power, you do something with it. You get high off the authority you wield.

What have these old fucks done with their power other than just taking in tax payer money to line their own pocke......

Nevermind.

1

Yeah they are welfare queens who just sit and collect paychecks. Then they vote to ban welfare for the poor and disabled. Cuck Shumer like his cronies on both sides of the aisle take from Americans and receive buyouts and bribes from Oligarchs.

7

schumer and hakeems is just covering fro the rest of the DINOs from being primaried. BOOKer, slotkin, GILLIBRAND and others.

8

If we've learned anything in the past decade it's to keep old white guys out of politics.

Chuck Schumer's seat was won January 2025 and he won't be up for another election until 2028, so this post is essentially useless for all purposes except attacking the party as a whole before the 2026 midterm elections.

This post is about Chuck's role as Senate leader specifically, not as a senator. When the new congress is in season next year, he intends to continue to be the chief spokesperson of the Democratic party.

Not useless per se, but the position is elected by the other senators within the party, not by the people. So if you don't want him representing the Democratic party to the White House and the Senate, you should start calling your representatives and complaining now.

11

That might be a sound argument if instead of attacking Schumer it was promoting literally anybody else who might run for the position.

2nd favorite is fetterman, and gillibrand comes in 3rd, another is from texas who has been pardoned by trump.

3

There is no comparison between any Republican and any Democrat. The worst Democrat is probably Fetterman, who became more conservative after a traumatic brain injury, the only DNC senator to support funding the ICE, and even he opposed 11 Trump cabinet appointments while the most any Republican opposed was 3, Mitch McConnell. Every Democrat is better than every Republican, hands down.

I've always despised Chuck; 40 years in office and counting.

They're not going away unless they die. Wake up

Look at Mitch McConnell, Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, Trump.

When this country was founded, there was no way to conceive that we'd live for 80+ and people would hold an office for their entire life, accumulating treasures like Smaug

(about 80% of R&D voters want term and age limits, about as much as want universal healthcare and higher minimum wage. it's nice to want things)

Ben Franklin died at 84 in 1790 just 2 years after serving as President of Pennsylvania… but okay.

Republicans want to abolish the minimum wage and keep healthcare tied to employment

3

And Democrats just want to never raise the minimum wage again and keep healthcare tire to employment. That's why Schumer is still going to be Senate Leader, he's a.safe bet for the donors.

1

Yep. I felt the same about Biden. He was a bumbling shmuch for his entire long career.

2

I've already contacted my senators twice to voice my hope that they don't vote for the gerontocracy. I also contacted Schumer's office to ask him to retire, for the sake of our country. Not that I think it'll do much, but it's something.

Chuck the cuck fucking sucks butts

Chuck LeFuck fucking hates the Canucks

Chuck lugs truck nuts into his guts

If Chuck could chug butts he'd be a butt glutton, aw shucks

5

When people throw around the term controlled opposition, Chuck Schumer is who I see in my minds eye.

Fundraiser-in-chief

Senate Majority Leader isn't House Speaker. You command little procedural power and have no real tools to discipline rogue Senators.

The post is largely just an award for sucking up the most private money and distributing it to friendly Senators during tight reelections. The real power of the office is to throw $30M into a Michigan primary on behalf of your friends in Israel.

Procedural power over nominations and when to vote on bills is absolutely huge and can shape the nation as a certain vegetating turtle has shown over his career.

4

Procedural power over nominations and when to vote on bills

Is set by the Senate Committee Chairs, not the Senate Majority Leader. The Judiciary Chair holds significantly more power over SC nominees than Schumer, which is why Dick Durbin holds so much clout within the party and John Cornyn losing his primary was such a big deal within the GOP.

The Judiciary Committee also happens to be a Whose Who of People Planning to Run For President.

The more progressives want him to step aside, the more incentives capital interests will offer him to doggedly remain in the way.

That being said, he's up for re-election in 2028, isn't very popular in New York (or with democrat voters in general), and it probably won't make much of a difference if he stays on as majority leader while Trump is in office.

11

Just, like, go away. Once you were respected but now it's come to light you are just a shill that will do or say anything for the right amount of "donations".

5

You gotta take the Senate to be the majority.

Baby steps. Or not. Steps. Whatever.

3

Vote some in and recall them for others as needed, unlike what's happened in the very recent past with the other party - gotta find a way
